Approach
One originator, a fixed method, and a record for every idea.
The originator
S. Sunder Iyer spent about ten years in the Inspection and Audit Department of a commercial Indian bank. He works as an independent, solo innovator, entirely from a mobile phone, and founded SSIyer Innovations as a sole proprietorship in Maharashtra, India.
The work rests on a spiritual foundation. Every document begins and ends with the grace of The Almighty.
The method
- A concept starts from a real, current problem in public or personal life.
- It is written as a concept note with a defined scope, architecture and limits.
- Where a working demonstration helps, it is built as a prototype.
- Each note is numbered, dated and marked as the originator's work.
The model
SSIyer Innovations originates concepts. It does not execute them. Engagement is limited to IP licensing, technology co-development and IP acquisition. No operational, financial or delivery commitment is implied by any document, prototype or conversation.
The record
Reference numbers follow one format: SSI, the project code, the year and a sequence number. Follow-up addenda carry the same number with an addendum suffix. All correspondence is written, individual and kept on record. There is no phone follow-up.
Whether a concept is shared openly or in confidence is decided project by project.
